The weight gain and insecurities were an outcome of our lifestyle. The very lifestyle many people today would still envy 🥱
And yes, this is where I would normally throw around words like serotonin, dopamine, endorphins but I think you get the point! 😅
Since 2016, we've definitely changed how we look physically. THAT too is an outcome of ALL the other lifestyle changes that ACTUALLY make us happy and healthy. ✨
Having hobbies, quitting smoking, finding friends who aren't just drinking buddies, getting some sunlight daily, exercising & moving every single day, cooking nutritious meals we love (as opposed to throwing away dozens of homemade meals made by our cook to replace them with nachos and beer), spending time in nature, learning to have a work life balance, understanding how to step away from stress and actually sleeping 8-9 hours (instead of 3 some nights and 12 on others).
The goal must be happiness. Not just the number on a scale or that dress size. Those make us happy in the moment yes, but it's alllll that other stuff that KEEPS us happy. ✨☺️">
