We arrive in Sydney and do the usual tourist stuff (local beaches, park walks, sights and iconic spots) then head to the Blue Mountains before buying your new (used) car from the Backpackers Market. After some minor upgrades we head south stopping a Wollongong, Bream Beach and then camping in Borderee National Park (Jervis Bay) for a few days of beaches, snorkeling and exploring. Video Details: We start this adventure on a super-economy flight to Sydney, Australia. A city of sights and beaches. But for mountains we needed to head inland. Target? The village of Katoomba. We were in search of the world famous Three Sisters. Three ugly sisters that is. Time to return to the city. The goal was to drive across Australia. But for that I needed a car. Bye, bye Sydney (and Lucy). Our first major objective was Jervis Bay. World famous fish & chips. After that meal a run was required. With basecamp setup we went exploring. Why don't you tell me about the whales? The Southern Write whale may be seen from here in July & in November-December. In winter they travel to the breeding grounds of the southern half of Australia. In summer they go to the antarctic breeding grounds. A few days later we left Jervis Bay and headed inland. Were we did some shopping and met a mouse exterminator.
