Utilizing all of these controls, plus the dng raw file format that is now possible, will give you the highest quality mobile images that we have ever seen 2: Highlight Clipping & Exposure Control Lightroom mobile has a live highlight clipping warning (it uses the “zebra” warning technique to let you know which areas are clipping) those black and white zebra’d areas up where the sun is, Lightroom Mobile shows that that area is completely white and therefore does not have any information. It has the easiest to use the Lightroom Mobile Exposure Compensation ever — just tap on the screen and swipe left or right to darken or brighten before you take the shot.  3: Composition Grids Lightroom Mobile has a feature that gives you a live “Crop” tool overlay on your screen. The Lightroom Mobile feature is the “Crop Guide Overlay”, which as the name implies, overlays one of three different patterns on the image. I was surprised to find that most people really didn’t know about this tool, so I thought I would share how I use it. 4: Automatic Level Lightroom Mobile has a built-in level, so you visually straighten your shot before you take it (see below — that broken white line turns yellow and straight when your image is level) 5. Focus Mode There are two ways to use focus in the Lightroom Mobile Lightroom App. The first being one time focus, just click on the screen anywhere and that spot will become focused. There is also a way to adjust the focus manually, hold down on the screen and everything in focus will go green.
