For ME, this experience was made more enjoyable and rewarding before I started using FFS if I have to be honest. 🤷🏽♂️
With the new tech, I saw instant application to how I could utilize it to gather more real time information to continue to target these bass with the skill set I still continue to work on each and every day I'm out here.
I was telling a friend that I didn't forsee people using it in a hyper focused application and ONLY using it for finding fish to cast on. But hey, to each his own, and I'm not knocking anybody for fishing that way. I just know for me, I don't get any more fulfillment from it than a sight targeted bed fish. Blind casting is my deal because I love not knowing when that thump is coming.
The mystery of when that big swimbait would get thumped kept me on my toes and focused. I liked bass fishing the way it was. I still choose to do it that way now, even with all the electronics at my disposal. Just the other day I went out in a canoe, a paddle and this @DefiantFishing 247 & used my experience and knowledge I've worked a lifetime to build on and got a mystery thump by a much smaller 6.75lber. I loved everything about that day. Maybe I'm crazy that I'm ok with not trying to catch every single fish I could see on electronics?
We're going to have a LIVESTREAM Tuesday, January 9 with a special guest who's been busting that ass with FFS and a couple new hosts I want to introduce you guys to! Both sides of the perspective will be represented. Should make for a fascinating conversation! Check it out on the @BigBassDreams YouTube Channel at 5pm Pacific/8pm Eastern!
