This knife has quickly gained popularity for being a robust, yet lightweight folding knife built for tactical and everyday carry applications. The Bailout features an overall length of 8.07 inches with its blade measuring in at 3.38 inches. The Grivory handled models weighing in at a featherlight 2 ounces, the Bailout practically disappears in your pocket or on your gear loadout. The Bailout features Benchmade’s rock-solid AXIS Lock mechanism which provides both bulletproof lockup and easy one handed operation. The Bailout comes standard with a CPM-3V blade which has a grey Cerakote finish for added corrosion resistance and durability. A new variation was introduced in 2020 featuring a textured aluminum handle, extended pommel with a built-in glass breaker, and CPM-M4 blade steel for excellent performance and edge retention. While the new materials add a little weight, this knife remains incredibly light weighing in at 2.7 oz’s. Both models offer a combo blade.
