Pop up Pools are fun but they do not have very good filtration systems. The systems are always underpowered. My Sumers wave is a prime example of this issue it is using a type D filter through the skimmer and that means the bottom of the pool does not get touched. So you always sweeping just to keep up use and sine the skimmer is the filter you at an uphill battle. So the solution, add a second pump and filer increasing the efficiency and since we are traveling that direction lets add a pool robotic cleaner. So that is what we did we added the Intex 28633EG Krystal Clear Cartridge Filter Pump for Above Ground Pools, 2500 GPH Pump Flow Rate, 110-120V with GFCI this will have more than enough power to filter my 1800 gallon Summers Wave pool! Step 2 add a Robotic Pool Cleaner so enter the Intex Robotic Pool Cleaner. Search down a few more parts and start pool surgery!
