Special indeed! (It probably sounds better in Italian.) Had to go to Discogs to discover that this was originally released as Harry Edison ‎– Gee Baby Ain't I Good To You, and - believe it or not - the band members, who appeared nowhere on the recoprd or sleeve. To whit: Bass – Ray Brown Drums – Alvin Stoller Guitar – Barney Kessel Piano – Oscar Peterson Tenor Saxophone – Ben Webster Trumpet – Harry Edison Track list Blues For Piney Brown Blues For The Blues Blues For Bill Basie Gee, Baby Ain't I Good To You You're Getting To Be A Habit With Me Taste On The Place Moonlight In Vermont Interestingly (arguably) the history of this record vaguely registers the ebbs & flows in favour of various musicians: the first few releases credit the record to 'Harry Edison'; more recent ones say 'Harry Edison & Ben Webster'; there's even one from 2012 that has it under 'Ben Webster & Harry Edison'. (Obviously the likes of Oscar Peterson & Ray Brown don't rate a billing.) Anyway, apparently it dates from 5 March 1957. And however it's credited, it's become one of my firm mellow favourites.
