DIY craft lantern idea for outdoor or indoor use. I used the lid to create the chimney from modelling clay. This way I don’t need to worry if it’s raining, as the flame will be protected. I’ve marked the bottle with a diamond cutter and then I used hot and cold water to cut it in half. I have made the tea light holder from wood and varnished it with dark oak. To give more rustic style try sanding it when dried, using a sandpaper to distress the wooden tealight holder. The glass bottle craft lantern is ready!
