Palm Beach Zoo is a smaller zoo, but has awesome animals and they are a lot more visible. The zoo offers an amazing program where you can have personal animal experiences and encounters with various animals. Of course, this was the main reason I stopped off here before heading to Mexico. It's very rare in the USA to have a personal and private sloth encounter. I got so lucky that day because I was the only one who signed up and got to visit with the friendly, lovable Wilbur their two-toed female Sloth in a private one on one session. It was a beautiful sweet experience. I got to feed her grapes and veggies the entire time and pet her. I just loved her so much and I'm pretty sure it was mutual! :) If you love sloths too, you have to go visit Wilbur!
