FYT's video: INTERVIEW: Leyte governor on Balik Probinsya program and returning residents infected with COVID-19

[UPDATED] After causing confusion in Leyte, the "Balik Probinsya" program sparked concern among locals as two returning residents - one from Baybay City and another from Tanauan town tested positive for COVID-19 as of Thursday, May 28. A returning overseas Filipino worker (OFW) from Hilongos town also tested positive for the coronavirus disease, health authorities confirmed on Friday, May 29. FYT's Voltaire Tupaz chats with Leyte Governor Leopoldo Dominico Petilla on Thursday morning, May 28, to discuss how the province is dealing with these new infections, the first cases in Baybay City and in Tanauan and Hilongos towns. Echoing Ormoc Mayor Richard Gomez, Governor Petilla called on the national government to ensure coordination with local government units on arrivals of Balik Probinsya beneficiaries and overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).
