Just six minutes after the westbound coal train in the previous Short (https://youtube.com/shorts/BdlwT3mm0b4), the sky was rapidly approaching its breaking point as Amtrak's eastbound Capitol Limited negotiated the curves through Shenandoah Junction, WV on August 18, 2017. We wasted no time getting back in the car after this shot. Within minutes of our departure, a driving rain started falling in wind-whipped bands and did not let up until we were well south of Fredericksburg.
