Just wanted to share a little bit of the autumn color mixed in with some fall rain from the the 2012 "Pineapple Express" weather pattern which hit the west coast this week. While the brunt of the atmospheric river hit Northern California, it's effects were still very much felt here in Southern California. While portions of Northern CA have seen in excess of one foot of rainfall, my station here in Southern California is reading about 2 inches from this system, with a few other areas seeing even a few inches more...not too bad for an early season storm system!
