Featured here is a baby Opossum which wandered into my backyard one Spring afternoon in search of a quick snack. As you can see in the video, garden snails were his food of choice! Opossums are omnivores and will scavenge for nearly anything including snails, slugs, worms, small fish, small reptiles, insects, trash, and fruit (they love picking my Apples off the tree!). The term Opossum covers species found in North America, whereas Possum refer to those native in Australia. Thanks for watching!
