Oprah would ask: Is there a new star in the sky - or rather in German rap? This week it gets deep and bossy simultaneously because the soundtrack for today's choreo is provided by none other than Tashan. She's been making waves on the scene since Friday with her new song "Oprah" (yes, named after the one and only Oprah Winfrey). 🔥 And we're not only celebrating the incredible beat and lyrics of her German-language debut, but also Tashan as an artist. She inspired us for this dance because she is incredibly talented and at the same time sets a stage for important topics: From her multicultural heritage to body positivity, equality and female empowerment - she has a lot to share. 🙏❤️ The sound carries us through the genres of pop, hip-hop and contemporary R&B and is also a debut for us in a way, as we haven't danced to a German-language song in a long time. Actually, it was a genre she had never really engaged with and all her previous releases were always in English. Gradually, however, she found a liking for the songs of Loredana, Badmómzjay and Shirin David and whoosh, a rap song was created by her.
