Hey, guy most-awaited vlog series has arrived. This time we went to the most epic and wanderlust trek of the year Kedarkantha. Keardantha is a very long trek and this is the most well-known trek in the north side. This trek is mostly famous in December month, and many trekkers come and visit this place in December month. 12, 500 Ft above the sea level this trek has its own pride. I came up with episodic series as we have captured many moments, many learning, many joys, and failure. This was a lifetime experience for all of us. In this vlog, we reach our base village which is kotgaun. Kotgaun is 12 hours away from Dehradun. We went by bus but the travel was just amazing. The views, big huge mountains everywhere, cold climate with dancing with friends. We had a great time and once we reach the village we had our dinner and also we got a brief about our 5 days trek. I suggest as the travel is very long dont eat too much as the roads are not very nice. Also, keep vomit medic with you as travel is rough. Kedarkantha is a mountain peak of the Himalayas in Uttarakhand, India. Its elevation is 12,500 ft (3,800 m). Kedarkantha is located within Govind Wildlife Sanctuary in Uttarkashi district. A trek to the peak of Kedarkantha usually starts from Sankri, a small village, and takes four days to complete. One legend has it that Lord Shiva sat at the summit to meditate but was disturbed by a bull running below. He instead went to Kedarnath, a town in Uttarakhand, to meditate. Another local myth relates to the Pandavas, who went to the Himalayas to seek Lord Shiva’s blessings. He hid from Bheem and disguised himself as a bull. But Bheem recognized him and went after him. So Shiva hid underground. When he rushed out of his hiding place, he let his body parts get divided, and each part fell at a different place.
