Footage: La Esclava Blanca, the telenovela I recently discovered this series on Netflix and I'm obsessed! I wish it was on DVD here in the states so I can make a real high quality video for this show, but instead I've had to use footage from the few trailers which I found on youtube, so the quality isn't as good. But still, if this video interests you, be sure to check out the show. It's really good! Storyline: A story of revenge and love in Colombia. After the murder of their masters, two slaves decide to adopt their masters' white baby, Victoria, as their own and raise her in the mountains. For several years their community of former slaves lives in peace and freedom, hidden from the rest of the world, until their hideout is found and stormed, separating Victoria from the only family she's ever known. While she escapes in time and is sent to a convent in Spain, the rest of the population, including her family, are returned to the local plantations in chains. Now facing a lifetime of enslavement, they have given up hope. But as the years pass, Victoria tries to find a new way home so she can find and rescue her family…and seek revenge on the men who took everything from her and her family. This is honestly one of the best mini-series/soap operas I've ever seen (from any country!) It's like a South American Les Miserables or a Colombian Count of Monte Cristo.
