What is the goal of every homestead? Well, first is to be as self sufficient as possible. One of the ways we do that is by generating an income stream (or 2 or 3 or, etc.). There are those who are fortunate enough (and talented enough) to be able to use YouTube as one of those income streams. But there are other ways that are a little less "high tech". And that's what I did this weekend. Most of my livestock are not to the point where they can bring in an income, yet. But, my Muscovy ducks, because they grow so fast and are easy to distinguish between hens and drakes at an early age, I was able to sell 2 drakes that I knew I did not want to use as breeders. The successful sale assures me that going with these ducks was a good decision.
