Side by Side comparison of 2020 F1 cars at Spa. Left is F1 2020 game the right is Assetto Corsa with the RSS Formula Hybrid 2020. After purchasing my first F1 game in a long time I've been having the hardest time adjusting to F1 2020. Not because of the FFB, the physics or the graphics....because of the Codemaster Tracks. The AC track is laser scanned and the F1 game track is not. F1 2020 is on the left, its about a half a second ahead of the AC lap. This is so you watch the corner in the F1 game then immediate watch it in AC. Codemasters never claimed their track was laser scanned, but with a game that has revenues that only trails GT sport, i think its fair to expect better of the F1 games. There is not reason not to have laser scanned tracks in this day and age.
