Jared Leisek's video: Radioactive Surfing in Santa Cruz and Ventura with an XP2 Quadcopter and GoPro Hero3

Recently made a trip down 101 stopping off in Santa Cruz and Ventura, California for some aerial video and photography of the surfers using a multirotor XP2 Quadcopter. Of the 70 plus surfers out, all were cool about me flying nearby except for one. While I never did meet him, I'd like to publicly apologize for he seemed annoyed with my presence. I think he had a student, son or nephew with him and the moment I realized his displeasure, I wrapped up with his location and moved on. I've got to admit that I was a bit nervous about crashing into the ocean and losing my quadcopter for good. I did take come precautions by using cable ties and securing floatation to the quadcopter. See Photo at http://instagram.com/p/WzzTGbup2l/ Equipment GoPro Hero3 Black Settings were 720 - 120fps with Protune off I also had a 55mm Polarizing Filter on the GoPro XP2 Quadcopter's from XProHeli http://www.xproheli.com =3_1_Surf Edited on Final Cut Pro X at 720p - 29.97 fps For this edit, I stabilization all shots in FCPX, but did not use fisheye removal as I've done in a few of my past edits shooting with a GoPro. For color correction, I increased saturation 20-40% in most of the shots, brought out the blue in the sky and dropped the yellow from the water. I finished up with the sharpening plugin in FCPX. I hope this video inspires your imagination for what can be possible when you add aerial footage to your edits with something like the XP2 Quadcopter from XProHeli. No FPV (first person view) was used in any of the shots with all of it being Line of Sight in these shots.
