In 2014, when President Obama, the First Black President, wanted to give a televised speech about immigration, ABC, NBC, CBS, all rejected it as too partisan & political; they all refused to air the speech. However, when Donald J. Trump, a White Supremacist & Compulsive Liar, whom they have already caught lying about immigration, also wanted to give a partisan political speech about immigration, they all agreed to air it. They all agreed to air Trump's speech even though they already know he has been lying about immigrants and are calling him out for those lies before the speech. That ladies and gentleman is Racist White Privilege all wrapped up in a neat little bow. There is no way you can defend refusing to run Obama's speech while agreeing to run a speech by a racist, compulsive liar, that they themselves have said will lie in the speech. It is inconceivable that anyone can defend airing Trump’s speech while refusing to air Obama’s. But, it gets even worse. When George H.W. Bush wanted to air a speech about immigration, they also aired his speech. So let’s see if you can connect the dots. When 2 WHITE PRESIDENTS wanted to give immigration speeches all the networks aired the speeches. When THE FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT wanted to give an immigration speech, they all rejected it as too political and partisan.
