We hike at the traditional Mt. Sinai in this video. Since the hike to the top took place at night, the descent from the top to the bottom once the sun rises is recorded. Located deep in the southern Sinai Peninsula, this 7,300 foot high granite mountain is one of several possible sites for where Moses received the Law from God. We also see the outside of St. Catherine’s, a Greek Orthodox monastery located at the base of the mountain.
