Jon Kutsmeda TV's video: WEEKEND BUZZ -- Oct 31 2021 -- The Sunday Signal

@WEEKEND "BUZZ" -- Oct. 31, 2021 -- The Sunday Signal
If you are looking for a weekend buzz… Here are some of this past week’s trending financial content that is "buzz" worthy, getting shared and liked around the internet. The buzz was plentiful this week, including a number of thought provoking Twitter threads that dropped on Saturday. Speaking of Twitter, Founder Jack Dorsey warned that “Hyperinflation is coming” In a tweet that read, “Hyperinflation is going to change everything. It’s happening” His comments sparked debate from both sides of the inflation narrative. On the topic of inflation, Gas is now $3 a gallon in all 50 states. Inflation is often referred to As a tax on the purchasing power of a currency, and on the topic of tax, from one of the orchestrators of inflation, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen promoted the idea of taxing unrealized capital gains which led to the video receiving a viral backlash among the crypto and finance communities. On the political front, a ”Let’s Go Brandon” rap surpassed Adele as the number one downloaded song on iTunes. Sergei Per-fill-ee-ev, a name familiar with the Weekend Buzz, shared a twitter thread about the kinky side of the yield curve. Lykeion released their “Charts of the Month” Facebook changed their name to Meta, but not many seemed to care, although it did spark some interesting discussions on the Metaverse and the future of Web3. Mike Green and Alex Gladstein participated in a productive debate called “Bitcoin’s Role in the War on Cash”. Mike has come to be somewhat of a Bitcoin antagonist, as comically portrayed in this recently modified photo of fellow finance names sitting around a conference table. The topics covered are worth a listen, even for the passionate, and easily triggered Bitcoiner. Lastly, in a weekend barrage of tweet storms, Natascha Che posted a thread where she made her case for why the “surest bet in crypto” is betting on Nation States using Proof of Stake as their economic engine. Another crypto twitter thread, which was both hard to miss, and impossible to ignore, was posted Saturday night by Real Vision CEO, Raoul Pal. Pal, in what read almost like a manifesto, attempted to set the record straight on the cultural and financial revolution that is already well underway in what he calls the Exponential Age. However, equally thought Provoking and well written was a Sunday morning rebuttal to Raoul’s views written by Alexander Good. Both extremely buzz worthy and a most read.
