Krby84's video: Cat Coughing- Feline Asthma

READ BEFORE COMMENTING: My 6 year old cat was diagnosed with asthma and this is what he does when he has an attack. NO IT IS NOT A HAIRBALL. I took this video on my phone to show the vet. He is on medication and doesn't need an inhaler right now. His attacks last about 1 minute. I posted this to help other pet owners see what an asthma attack can look like in cats. His belly sqeezes and he licks his lips to swallow any fluid that is expelled everytime he coughs. He is overweight and we hope that with getting his weight down and giving him the medicin and shots, he won't have as many episodes. If your cat does this a lot and does not bring up hair balls it is best to take them to the vet to have it checked out
