I have recently been looking for an all in one guitar cleaning kit and came across the Dunlop System 65 Guitar Maintenance Kit. After reading the reviews I decided to buy it and it is possibly the best thing I have done for my guitars. Here in the video you will see a little montage of how well this cleaning kit works. I tried it on my cheapest and oldest guitar first, my blue Stagg Stratocaster. (I thought it was best rather than going straight in with the Gibson). I honestly can't believe what a difference the cleaning kit has made to the playability of the guitar! The Micro Fine fret polishing cloth works wonders to get rid of the tarnish on the frets so that your strings glide beautifully when bending a note and the fingerboard cleaners and conditioners have put the life and soul back into a neglected guitar. The body cleaners work wonders on lacquered finishes the wax takes out the hairline scratches as if they were never there! The remaining scratches on the back are too deep for the wax to work. However, it has made an incredible difference which I didn't think was possible. I didn't use any of the products on the metal wear other than the Micro Fine fret polishing cloth in which I used on the machine heads to buff them up a bit. To clean the bridge I used cotton buds and a small amount of water to remove dirt and dust and then went back over it with a dry cotton bud which has worked fantastically. I also raised the bridges on some of the strings higher to stop some fret buzz which has made this cheap guitar really quite beautiful to play. I used Ernie Ball Super Slinkys on this guitar which sound great. The Ultra Glide string cleaner works wonders too and isn't too greasy on your hands. I wiped over the pickups, volume/tone knobs and pickup selector but didn't really get too hands on with the cleaning. I want my pickups, volume/tone knobs and pickup selector to age naturally so I tend to wipe them down but not fully clean them. I can't recommend this guitar cleaning kit enough and I'm so glad I bought it.
