I tried black flame... and it's arguably the best pyromancy in the game: -High poise break (more with parting pyromancy flame) -High damage & speed (great roll catch) -Works in spell or melee combos (as initiator or finisher) The only struggle is its short range. However, the fact fast weapons like straight swords can R1-BF true combo and BF trades so favorably even against poise & heavy weapons makes my Obsidian Greatsword feel not as good a fit for this low/mid-level invader build.
