We continue our Overlanding Africa by driving the beautiful Garden Route on the southern coast of South Africa. Our first stop was an action-packed 3-day stopover at the amazing Addo Elephant National Park close by Elizabeth Bay. From here, a days drive away and we found ourselves at Monkeyland and Birds of Eden near Plettenberg Bay. We camped in Nature's Valley and took advantage of hiking the Salt River trail along the coastline. Detouring north-west, we visited an ostrich farm in Oudtshoorn and drove up to and climbed the Meiringspoort Gorge to view the waterfall. Continuing north, we travelled the Swartberg range before arriving at our final destination; Prince Albert. Overlanding Africa is such an experience!
