Mark Fox Outdoor Adventures's video: Yellowstone Bear World

This is from my visit to Yellowstone Bear World in Rexburg, Idaho. If you would like to feed the bears you will pay about $12 per person to feed the bears from a bus. You throw the food from the second story of a bus onto the ground. They make a total of three stops during the feeding. First stop is by the Grizzly bears whom don't seem to care about the food. The second and third stops are for the black bears which seemed very picky about what they would eat. The $12 gets you a basket to split with one other person consisting of about 8 pieces of bread, three pieces of beef jerky, a few pressed hay pieces and some strawberry bagel pieces. In my opinion it is much better to drive yourself through the park. There is a worker who talks during the whole bus ride. I would definitely prefer a quiet ride for recording videos. When you drive in you first come through the entrance to see the variations of animals. You can see Bison, Groundhogs, Elk, White Elk and White-tailed deer. From that part you go through another gate containing Grizzly and Black Bears which are kept separate. As you start to exit that portion you can see a few cow moose to your left and a bull moose to your right. As you continue on you can see the petting zoo to your right after the bull moose containing deer consisting of fawns and a mama deer as well as pigs, ducks, chickens, geese and goats. Once you complete this drive through the park there is a parking lot where you can enter the remainder of the park through the gift shop. This section also contains the bear cubs, kids rides as well as the stream containing trout which you can feed. You are able to bottle feed the bear cubs for $55 per person currently. Lastly that is followed by the Butterfly Haven which you can purchase Q-tips to dip into what I believe is sugar water to feed butterflies. Current price is $0.50 for a single Q-tip or $1.00 for 3 Q-tips.
