@how to create a clipping mask in Illustrator CS6/CC for nice effect : Illustrator for beginners
Hello designers! Here is a short tutorial about creating a nice effect with clipping mask in Illustrator CS6. Step 1: Copy the image you like to use as a background for your letters. TIPS: you can use shift+ctrl+cmd+4 to printscreen any image. I used this command to clip the image from my instagram account @natalliajarl Step 2: Type anything you want. I use A and using a bold font. Step 3: Select the both layers, letter first, background second. Hold shift. Go to Object - Clipping Mask - Make. Step 4: Outline the text if you want to edit the background. Double click to move the image. Step 5: Enjoy!
