We titled it Breaking Bread which came from our mutual feeling and appreciation for the time we spent together. Our writing retreat was at a stunning and inspiring small town on the garden route called Kleinbrak, where we and our engineer, Andre Hough, set up gear in our living room and zoomed in on writing this album. We all channeled our creative energy as a unit and did everything from sharing meals to fine-tuning arrangements in this beach house in Kleinbrak, and what came out of it was the album which is the product of that bubble of creativity and family.
