Little did I know that the trawler would make me crave adventure at sea. Seems very obvious in hindsight now... a sailboat is the motorcycle of the ocean after all I thought. I was wrong - it was so much more. I signed up for a crew site told them a little about myself and then flew halfway around the world with no experience (and very little money - tale as old as time) to join the Pampero crew in the Caribbean. At the time I was very interested in a question... 'What does freedom mean to you?' Here's what we said after 6 weeks together.
