Nugget Heads's video: Gold Prospecting Pickers Galore

@Gold Prospecting Pickers Galore!
Gold Prospecting tips for the Falcon MD20. Finding beautiful gold nuggets in the desert. Hey everybody, check these three beautiful nuggets out in my scoop. Today I'm using the Falcon MD20, and I want to show you how to use it too. I'll show you the tips and tricks that help me find gold. So we'll get started. I turned my Falcon off, and you're probably looking at that going, "You know, that's really not the off position." Well on this one it is, and that's fine. I'm not going to adjust the knob at all. I'm fine where it's at, and it's not the manufacturer's fault. It's my fault it's like that. So I'll get around to it one of these days, but I don't need to worry about it now the wires aren't being damaged. So I can turn mine up all the way. First thing it's turned up all the way. Then I turn the threshold. There's a lot of other detectors, I just turn it to where it's barely making a noise. It's a sensitive adjustment, takes a light hand. You can hear it as I move the coil, the probe, and I call it the mosquito, where the threshold's just breaking. One thing I noticed about the Falcon, it'll false some plants quite a bit. You touch a plant with it, it'll false. Once you get it down here in the bedrock and you're moving it around, it won't false as bad, but it definitely likes to false some plants. So I have another target right here and we'll see what it is. And it's repeatable multiple ways, back and forth, up and down. You always want your targets to be repeatable with a good detector, any kind of gold detector. Another cool thing about the Falcon is how it really discriminates. You're going towards the target, pretty confident it's gold. If it was making a noise when I was pulling away, I would think it was black sand. Well you can hear, it's a really nice sound nine, and I can pinpoint where it is too. Pretty confident it's a piece of gold, so let's dig it out together. Put my glasses on here. I'll spare you watching that. Let's just clean this crack out together. This thing does not have a lot of depth. It is not a deep secret, so this is not going to be very deep at all. There it is right there, you can see it. I hope you can see it. It's at the bottom of this crack. Another gold, tiny piece of gold. So that's four nice pieces of gold in my scoop. The Falcon's still rocking, so I'm going to keep going. There's more in here, but that's just really how I use the Falcon. I like to turn it all the way up, set the ground balance towards just doing the mosquito, and get hunting. And the manufacturer I believe at one time said, "Give it a minute to warm up." And I've heard different things with electronics. I'm an electronics expert, but I would say that it helps just to let it warm up for a few minutes. I've been having this one turned on and off pretty much all day. So I'm going to keep going, and I'll show you the gold one more time. There's a bunch of gold, my scoop, and we'll keep going up Falcon wash here and we'll see what we get. Thanks for watching. Be sure to like, subscribe, and hit the bell. Later.
