Off-Grid's video: My Van is my Second Home - Artist Mia Hawk Shares Her Experience

This is the story of artist Mia Hawk who uses often uses her van as her only means for accommodation and transport! The Off-Grid Channel was originally a set of videos I recorded when writing my book How to Live Off-Grid for Doubleday. Then I wrote OFF THE GRID for Penguin, and recorded some more videos across the USA. Now I am working on my third book, and the off-grid phenomenon is growing like crazy but has nowhere near peaked. Living off grid literally means living without Utility power or water. But it has come to mean so much more than that. People go off grid when they switch off their phone for a day, or go for a long walk in the mountains.
