PaintScaping's video: 3D Projection Mapping at the New York Public Library with guest Jake Gyllenhaul

It was a Broadway night like no other. PaintScaping transformed the famed New York Public Library, for the afterparty following the premiere of "Sunday In The Park With George" with Jake Gyllenhaal, at the Hudson Theater. NY-based event company Gradient hired PaintScaping to map the majestic Astor Hall of the famed building. Under the creative direction of Anthony Coppers, PaintScaping celebrated both the artistry of "Sunday in the Park" and the storied past of the Hudson. We projected old Playbills, posters, vintage images of the NBC sets, using brushstrokes inspired by "Sunday in the Park." We also projected the Tiffany glass ceiling of the Hudson onto the ceiling of the library. We even honored the tragic tale of Henry Higgins, the original founder of the Hudson in 1903, who died on the Titanic. Indeed, it was a Broadway night like no other. For our tech fans, we used 6 Christie HD-14k projectors, and Alcorn-McBride media servers for the playback. Thx to our amazing PaintScaping team.
