Perfect Little Planet's video: New Amsterdam Trail: History of New York City

The Dutch didn't buy Manhattan for $24. It was a big misunderstanding. Also, did you know New York used to be a pirate town? Learn about the origins of New York City by following a mile-long trail around lower Manhattan called the New Amsterdam Trail. The trail starts in Battery Park, goes up to Broadway, around Pearl (which used to be the edge of Manhattan), and then across Wall Street. There are 10 stops along the route. The brochure has more details, but the video follows the brochure pretty exactly.
