Trebuie sa ne aducem aminte de Zamolxe, Zeul Dacilor, numai al dacilor, zamislit de un popor peste care s-au abatut, in toate timpurile, navalitorii ravnitori de lapte si miere. Neindurarea acestora i-a silit si pe daci la neindurare. Altfel cum s-ar putea explica trimiterea unui sol catre Zeu din viata in moarte prin suliti? Lucrurile se petreceau asa: se alegea un calusar, i se punea un calus in gura, i se spunea prin viu grai mesajul pe care solul urma sa-l duca in cer lui Zamolxe! Calusarul era aruncat in sus, cadea fireste in sulitele dinainte pregatite.
