RFDC07's video: Sonday November 8 2009: Sonday Songs: Mediums

RFDC sings a song about an event she went to which involved Crowning the Best Medium LYRICS: Friday the 30th of October was the night, In which I disappeared off out, I went to an event to see what it was all about, That event was to see mediums, And before you make the joke, I thought he was a large, Ive heard them all before. Nine mediums all came together, To compete against each other, To see who could be crowned, The best. Nine introduced themselves, And then began, By touching an object and seeing if they could feel, The energy from the object which would enable them to tell, The story, The true story, About its past. One by one they came, I thought their explanations would all be the same, But I turned out to be wrong, One woman seemed to have a connection which was strong, I was told afterward that shed got it right, I couldnt believe it, it was awesome, But there were still some rounds to go. The next round involved readings, An audience member was picked at random, To have their reading taken, Quite a few of the nine seemed to be mistaken, Others only seemed to understand generalisation, But two out of the nine seemed great, They seemed to get the readings perfect, Without the general stuff, And without the wrong stuff, So everyone seemed quite pleased. Throughout the whole night there were three judges, Sitting at a table giving their opinions, They werent criticising, they were just giving their views, But when the second round ended it was our turn as we were given the chance to vote. I didnt actually take this chance, The truth was I couldnt make up my mind, So decided it would be best just to watch, But after half an hour when we headed back inside, Everyone who had voted seemed to be really hoping, That their medium would get in, But only two would have the chance to actually win. The reading of the votes finally commenced, The tension in that room seemed to be immense, As everyone watched and listened for the result, Before some cheered and others shrugged. Nine soon became two, Then they had to complete a third and final round, That round was to do another reading, This time on one of the judges, Neither dropped out, Some seemed convinced without a doubt, Who would go to the end, I however, had no idea who would prevail. The readings began, Both did well, But of course, only one could go all the way, But it was now out of our hands, The judges left to decide, Who would go through. It took quite a while, But their choice was finally made, The winner was announced, And both mediums shook hands, Before the crowd was eventually dismissed. Everyone now seemed to be talking about, Who had won and who had lost, Me and my parents among them, We were OK with who had gone through, And we all had a very awesome time!
