Tonight I'll be joined by DocMurdoc (AKA Chris Haley) who has been building and flying drones for longer than anyone else I know. Doc is a manned aircraft pilot and has read all 400+ pages of the FAA Remote ID document and sees some good, some bad and some ugly implications for our hobby. He will break down the major components of Remote ID help us understand how this may (and probably will) impact how we fly starting in September 2023 - when everything will go into full effect for manufacturers and pilots - both hobby and Part 107. I know that these regulations can seem confusing and way off in the future, but they are coming fast and the best thing we can do is get educated.
