Nightdive Studios released a pre-alpha demo of the System Shock remake project for backers. I love the original System Shock and I'm very interested to see how the final remake shapes up to be. Based on the demo the game feels good, it's faithful to the original but updated to modern standards. Let's hope the quality continues in the final product! Note: I couldn't get the higher resolution texutres or effects to work, even after a reboot it just resets to the low settings. Oh well, it's in pre-alpha so not a big deal.
