The wonderful SHARLEEN SPITERI, lead voice of the Scottish alternative rock/pop band "TEXAS", performs her cover of her idol Elvis' megahit, "SUSPICIOUS MINDS" (1969, Elvis Presley's cover of the Mark James' 1968 original song from James' album "Suspicious Minds") as their encore and final climax of their unforgettable concert during the 1st night of this year's "MAGDALENA EN VIVO" music festival (last year called "Los conciertos de La Campa"), in the beautiful Magdalena Peninsula in Santander (Cantabria, Spain), next to the beach and to a wonderful view of the bay. One more tick off my bucket list, to see "TEXAS" live! I loved them since "Southside", when I heard those powerful first guitar riffs and drum beats in "I Don't Want a Lover" and then Sharleen Spiteri's magnificent voice conquered me forever. So happy to have lived this! Sharleen's charm, energy and charisma owned the stage, her pristine soulful voice floating over the crowd and belting some incredible special moments... Hearing all the hits and that sublime Elvis surprise cover at the end made that summer night next to the ocean complete and an unforgettable one. Me encantan desde "Southside", cuando escuché aquellos poderosos primeros acordes y golpes de batería de "I Don't Want a Lover" y luego la magnífica voz de Sharleen Spiteri me conquistó para siempre. ¡Tan feliz de haber vivido esto! La simpatía, energía y el carisma de Sharleen fueron dueños del escenario, su voz prístina y llena de alma flotando sobre la multitud y resonando a pleno pulmón en algunos momentos especiales increíbles... Oír todos los éxitos y aquella sublime versión sorpresa de Elvis al final hizo aquella noche de verano junto al mar completa e inolvidable.
