Return on ad spend (aka ROAS) is a simple but advanced advertising metric. It's simple because the calculation is easy. It's simply revenue divided by ad spend. So even though the calculation is easy, getting the revenue number is tricky. Many advertisers don't even track conversions - much less - the revenue that comes directly from advertising. In this video, I show some average ROAS numbers based on the so-called "experts". Then I'll show you a sneak peek of real client ROAS numbers to give you an idea of what my clients see.
