I went and explored a underground tunnel that leads beneath old abandoned kilns. The kilns were built in 1892-1893 and were shut down in 1904 They are also known as Schoefer vertical kilns. The location is the Coplay Cement Company Kilns along the Ironton Trail near a playground and public pool. I've seen these ruins my whole life but never been down the dark tunnel up until this video. Whether we find something interesting or not it was the adventure of walking down a pitch black passage that is supposedly haunted I was looking forward to. Hope you Enjoy!
