Do follow me on Instagram - @styleprism and come, say hi there! I'm starting my YouTube journey with the first vlog from my latest trip to Darjeeling. This was my first out-of-town trip since the pandemic, and there could be no place better than the Queen of Hills for a refreshing weekend away from the madding crowd! Shown in the video (in order of appearance): 1. Driving up from the plains to the hills 2. Pitstop at Dewrali Restaurant - a small eating joint & rest stop near Kurseong where we had tea & piping hot bowls of egg Maggi! 3. Walk through the Mall road 4. Brunch at the famous Keventer's 5. Walking around, shopping for a jacket for my husband 6. Shortcuts and steep paths from one road to the other 7. Back to Mall road, checking out shops, enjoying the bustling Chowrasta 8. Band playing at the centre of the Mall 9. Checking out the Mall Market, full of shops selling souvenirs, winterwear & trinkets 10. Back to the hotel for some rest 11. Out again at night in freezing cold weather 12. Dinner at Shangri-La - well-known for Oriental food and old world vibes. They even have a fireplace & outside seating around bonfires. 13.
