I apologize for the shaky camera work and audio as it was shot on my cell phone at the time and I even uploaded it directly from the phone to YouTube (5 years ago). This Civil War eagle belt plate was most likely from an officer of the time and I'm imagining the story goes they were camped along the roadside as they were making their way back home to Michigan from the war.
