Is it safe to have surgery or other medical procedures in Mexico? Are the doctors properly trained? How are the Medical facilities? The truth is there's a wide range of pricing, facilities, and level of care in Mexico. You can go to a very low end public hospital with basic services and basic equipment. Or you can go to a high end private hospital with state of the art equipment. So are you going to be a victim of some botched job if you choose to get surgery in Mexico? It's possible, sure. But it's certainly not likely. The one big difference between medical care in Mexico and medical care in the US, is that in Mexico it costs a tiny fraction of the price.
