DAY HIKING IN WASHINGTON STATE | Little Si // Little Si is a well known trail in the Snoqualmie/North Bend area. Less than 45 minutes east of Seattle, Little Si is located right off Exit 32 from I-90. Little Si is a total of 3.7 miles roundtrip with 1,300 feet elevation gain. This trail is great if you're looking to meander through the woods. It's perfect if you’re just getting into hiking. A good one for families because it's easily accessible with moderate terrain. This trail GETS BUSY so if you can, avoid it on the weekends. If you want to miss the crowds, save this one for an early morning, midweek hike.Parking is available in both the main trailhead parking lot and the overflow parking lot. Don't park on the road. The neighbors will have you towed. PSA: Can we please eliminate the whole "Leave Your Dog Poop Bags On Trail" already? WHY is this even a thing? Dog Owners, DO THE RIGHT THING Don’t leave your dog poop bags on the side of the trail. Let’s be honest, you’re not coming back for them. I know because I picked up five poop bags on my way back to the car and I only saw one dog during my entire hike. You guys, I don’t even have a dog! Be a responsible dog owner and take the poop bags with you. Leave No Trace means don’t leave your crap (pun intended) behind. Whatever you pack in, you MUST pack out. No one wants to see your dog poop bags on their hike, it's considered littering AND it's not great for the environment. Thank you!
