But ICONSIAM is much more than a mall thereby earning it the moniker - MOTHER OF ALL MALLS. Billed as the "Icon of Eternal Prosperity" and "a new global landmark on the Chow Phraya River". superlatives abound. Well what can you expect with an investment of 1.6 billion dollars by the Chareon Pokhand Group of Thailand. According to Wikipedia Iconsiam, stylized as ICONSIAM, and ICS is a mixed-use development on the banks of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, Thailand.[1] It includes one of the largest shopping malls in Asia, which opened to the public on 10 November 2018,[2] as well as hotels and residences.
