Since the country’s Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, the United States has celebrated July 4 as its Independence Day. To commemorate the occasion, traditionally, Americans celebrate with parades, concerts, and other festive activities. For people around the world, the United States is not just a tourist destination, it represents “an idea.” On this 244th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, we asked some of our to share what America means to them.
