The pilot did a commendable job to avoid chopper crashing on to IRDE, one of the premium defence establishments of India. Tail of the chopper had caught fire over defence residential area , but the pilot diverted it towards the forest beyond the IRDE, and it crashed just outside its boundary wall. Moreover just 10 minutes before the crash, the chopper had dropped the family of BJP chief Nitin Gadkari at the Jolly Grant Hospital. Narrow escape for the BJP and the Defence Ministry!
