The Crankshaft Spline is the part that connects the crank shaft to the drive shaft. I think its a common issue when these go bad if you using it in salt water. I think salt water worked its way up the driveshaft corroding the spline and then driveshaft strips it or i have a blown gasket and saltwater is in my oil but im not seeing any sign of milk like features. Maybe its a small leak...? To get to the Spline i had to break down the motor. Its a $13 part (SPLINE part -97JL0) and you will have to order new gaskets as well.
