This case is about Tamara Samsonova. Tamara Mitrofanovna Samsonova, born February 5, 1947 in Uzhur, Krasnoyarsk Krai, is known as the "Granny Ripper" and "Baba Yaga". She is a Russian serial killer who was arrested in July 2015 on suspicion of committing 2 murders with extreme cruelty. She supposedly suffers from schizophrenia and was previously hospitalized three times in psychiatric hospitals. She is under investigation for a series of murders dating back to 2000 and is believed to have eaten parts of her victim. Note: I kept referring to Tamara as a "grandma", this was done in complete error. To my knowledge, she does not have any children so I should not have been using that label.
